The Brief: Support for email marketing and social media
The Work: I spent half a day with Carl focusing on email marketing and Facebook. We talked through best practice for both digital marketing tools and then worked through a campaign on each so by the end of the session there were two planned campaigns to be run.
The Results: An email campaign was created and sent out to past guests, including the use of personalised fields, to help build customer relationships and encourage them back. We also worked on a Facebook competition to build the number of likes on the Woodfarn Barns page, this was extremely successful fulfilling the objectives in 2 days and achieving over 23,000 views.
Meeting Nicki was a breath of fresh air. She listened to me on the phone and we exchanged emails. These were written by her, to me. They were not standard documents. When we met she listened intently to what my needs were and simply tailored my existing work, thoroughly streamlining it and making it much punchier and to the point. Additionally she has market expertise to dove-tail in with what I was seeking to do. She is also on hand for ‘tweaks’ and believe me, I need tweaking! Did I mention that she is patient! My business ethic is to ensure that all my guests have the best experience they possibly can in my holiday cottages. This way, they will return and recommend me. Nicki does the same, focusing not on her business or convincing you, but on what will work for you.
